Where the destination to be visiting?

UBUD
The centre of Balinese painting, Ubud's Museum "Purl Lukisan" has a permanent collection of modern works of Balinese art dating from the turn of the century. There are also several art galleries and homes of famous artists here, including that of Dutchborn Hans Snel and American Antonio Blanco.

KUTA
Once a lonely village on the road from Denpasar toward the Bukit Peninsula, Kuta is now a thriving tourist resort, popular mainly among the young. It is a popular beach for surfing although currents make it less suitable for swimming. Coast guards, however, are on constant duty during the day. Kuta faces toward the west offering beautiful sunsets.

Nusa Dua
The Nusa Dua tourist resort is part of the Bukit Peninsula in southern Bali. Some of the most beautiful and luxurious hotels are found here. The resort is known for its clean white beaches and clear waters. The surf is gentle along the northern side of the peninsula, bigger along the south. The most convenient form of transportation to and from Nusa Dua is by taxi.

Sanur
Known for its mysticism and for having the first star rated resort in Bali, Sanur is still considered today as one of the areas in Bali where you can feel the true spirit of Bali. Quiet and relatively laid back Sanur has a certain flair about it that appeals to just about everyone. It has a great stretch of white sand beach, with a variety of water sport activities for all ages to enjoy, fine hotels, villas, restaurants, traditional drama places as well as modern entertainment establishments. It is also one of the preferred areas in Bali, where affluent residents prefer to setup residence. Being almost in the center of Bali's major tourist areas, Sanur is a good location to explore Bali.

Jimbaran
Located to the south of Bali, midway between the airport and Nusa Dua is the fishing village of Jimbaran with its beautiful bay, long stretch of white sand beach and clear waters with brightly colored boats anchored along the shore. Jimbaran is still a little rustic, however over the last few years a number of private luxury villas and five star hotels have emerged putting Jimbaran on the map of luxury resort areas. The Jimbaran seafood market located on the beach is probably the biggest in Bali and has the widest selection of fresh seafood. And in conjunction with the seafood market there are also traditional seaside seafood restaurants on the beach where one can enjoy the catch of the day - and very popular with locals and visitors alike.

Legian
Often mention in the same breath as Kuta, Legian borders Kuta to the north (for our purposes we define Legian as the area between Jl. Melasti and Jl. Dhyana Pura) and is much the same as Kuta when it comes to inexpensive accommodations, restaurants and shopping. That said Legian is a bit quieter because there is no direct public access road along the beach giving the area a more resort feel.
The Legian area is very easy to explore on foot. The shops (and there are a lot of them) still tend to be simple family owned souvenir places (art and crafts, t-shirts and the like) where tenacious shoppers can find hidden treasures and bargaining is the rule.
